Power Rankings Today publishes sports power rankings built on data instead of opinion. Every team is rated by the same model, the ratings refresh after every game, and every weekly edition is saved so anyone can check how a team’s standing changed over the season.

Why We Built It
Most power rankings are one writer’s opinion, published once a week and rarely explained. They are fun to argue about, but hard to trust and impossible to check. We wanted rankings that show their work: a clear formula, the numbers behind every team, and a record of every past edition.

Our Principles
- No hand edits. No team is ever moved up or down by hand. If the order looks surprising, the note under the team explains why.
- Show the method. The formula, weights and limits are published in full.
- Fix mistakes fast. If a game result is wrong, we correct it and every rating rebuilds from the corrected data.
- No betting promotion. Win chances come from our model for context only. We do not link to or promote sportsbooks.
- Original work. Game data comes from a licensed live sports data feed. The ratings, analysis and every word on the site are our own.
