Efficiency
Box score strength: net yards per play first, then scoring margin, third downs and turnovers.
Data, not opinion
No writer moves a team by hand. The same model rates every club, and the method is published.
Updated after every game
Ratings refresh as soon as a game is final, with the time of the last update shown on every page.
